Dominique decided that she would stop for ice cream. Since she was in Diagonal Alley trying to get her school shopping done. She was going into her sixth year and was almost done with school. She had just gotten the owl that said that she was going to be prefect. Her parents were so proud of her. So this was her way of celebrating. As it seemed like all of her hard work was paying off. As she was the middle child. This was something that was huge in her book.
Right now she just wanted to get some ice cream. And have a little alone time for herself. She knew that OWLS is something that really almost did her in. And it was because she was so worried about doing good. Because she knew that they would decide what she wanted to be. Which she really even sure what she wanted to do after she was done with Hogwarts. Maybe go to university but she wasn't sure what she wanted to study. She knew that she had time to think about that. And she knew whatever she wanted to be would be perfect. Her parents weren't pressuring her into anything.
They were letting her be her own person. Dominique had so many famous aunts and uncles. That it was hard for her to find her own place. Because everybody loved to remind her of her famous family. After she had gotten her strawberry ice cream, she went to find a seat. It wasn't like she was meeting anybody today. But she wouldn't mind if someone would join her. Maybe next time she could bring Albus and Lucy with her. It was so cool that Lucy was finally going to be going to Hogwarts. And she told her cousin that it didn't matter what house she was in.
Because it seemed like there was a cousin in every house. Even though it was just her and Albus in Slytherin. It would be all good no matter what. Looking around she was going to watch everybody else. The study they behave and analyze it.
